I like this series. Is there a Jeppesen equivalent for the Chart Supplement (AFD)? Or does that still need to be referred to with the FAA

Fanatical Pilot Support, except when it comes to audio? This could have been a good video, but the audio quality here is an embarrassment, maybe that’s just another place where Boeing decided to save some money.

It’s too bad the audio is so bad as to make this almost unwatchable - The information is great, and I would love to provide the link to my spouse, but she would be annoyed and wouldn’t watch it due to the bad audio. 😕

I almost sent you guys a support ticket, after I wasn’t seeing the ‘Equipment status’ options when selecting the Procedure to add to the FP. Alas - the Sun n Fun 2024 Power Users - Advanced Tips had it so that Pro Plus AND Performance subscribers could see that feature - whereas this later video made it known that this feature is only available for Performance subscribers. I’m glad I watched this one before sending the ticket 😁

Perhaps a better way to save the custom Route (including custom Arrivals/Departures), built in FF, is to save it as a Favorite: Once you have the Route created click the ‘star’ in the Edit tab of the FPL. This will give you the option to save it with a name (e.g. *KBFI-Vashon-Arrival* ). Once saved as a favorite, you can then load it by name from the ‘Favorite Routes’ button (at the top, to the right of the ‘Instruments’ toggle - it looks like a star and a clock). This loads it into the FPL without ever leaving the moving map, and you get to reference it by a custom name.

Yup - sound is terrible quality. Too bad. The content looked like it was going to be useful. ForeFlight - please remove this video and replace it with similar content with acceptable sound quality.

I highly suggest the middle tier, pro plus option. You won’t be left wanting and to be honest, in the grand scheme of aviation, it’s not that expensive

Of course ForeFlight is pushing Jeep charts - they are both owned by Boeing…nuff said.

Could we get the ability to swipe through plates in our binders that are checked for quick review? It'd make it way faster than having to go back into each subcategory and put value into checking only the plates we'll need for a certain departure, arrival, approach, or airfield.

It would REALLY help to know which subscription level these features are available in. Example: When creating an FPL, change to the Profile view, you can't use the new features you spoke about in the video (Reported Turbulence) without a ForeFlight Performance plan. Maybe when creating these videos, you either split them into different sections of new features for each plan, or create a separate video for each plan of new features.

Have forefflight discovered Android yet? That would be something new.

I'm having a hard time justifying the steep price of Jeppesen plates for the average 100-300 per year GA pilot.

Sound is horrible, almost understandable.

If you are a student or experienced pilot wanting to fill in an ICAO flight plan Don't waste your time on this crap.

By 6:48 the commentary could not be related to the screen. Its about the poorest explanation of an ICAO plan I've ever seen and useless for students. I give it a Thumbs Down

Ausrunways has had this traffic feature for years and it actually works in flight which is an extremely useful feature to be able to see another aircraft’s track. For the price of this program it would be nice if the traffic feature worked in flight.

Being able to chart a route that keeps my airplane within glide range of airports is BASIC functionality and unfortunately FF never has made this easy. Should be included in basic plan. Range rings or glide distance around airplane doesn't help in the planning phase.

Adding my vote for the ability to add more than two airports to a flight binder to include departure and arrival alternates. Thanks!
